New Armstrong County Arts Council Gets Underway

Armstrong County announced their new Armstrong County Arts Council late last week and their first meeting is happening today. What originally started as an initiative through Experience Armstrong Incorporated will now stand own its own legs.

The organization officially formed in May but board members and volunteers have been working to identify ways to connect artists with upcoming events and other opportunities this summer and fall.

Those who are interested in getting involved with the next public art project can attend the meeting to be held tonight at Mystic Beauty Spiritual Wellness Studio in Ford City from 6 to 8 p.m.
